Hello all!
First off, the Shawley family is thankful and feels so loved by everyone’s desire to pray for Kaley and keep up with what is going on.
Kaley and Michael were praying that her surgery would be scheduled for March 30th and thought that was the soonest she could have it done. But the Lord has been so kind and faithful through all of this and answering so many prayers. She is now having surgery at 12:30pm this Monday (28th).
Kaley will be in surgery for about 4 hours, with two different surgeons, Dr. Pendarvis and Dr. Stewart. They will doing a complete thyroid removal, as well as removing 20 lymph nodes. Michael will be her only visitor in the hospital because of Covid restrictions, and she is expected to stay one night and will be discharged on Tuesday.
Michael and Kaley are working on putting together an Amazon wishlist for some practical needs that arise so I will send that out soon, and below is the link for the Go Fund Me. Thank you all for praying for the Shawley’s, don’t stop!
